GSAT là viết tắt của cụm từ Global Samsung Aptitude Test – bài thi kiểm tra năng lực của ứng viên ứng tuyển vào Samsung. Thường kì thi này sẽ dành cho những thí sinh dành cho các ứng viên mới tốt nghiệp đại học muốn thi tuyển vào Công ty Samsung. Bài thi này được áp dụng cho các ứng viên thi tuyển vào Tập đoàn Samsung trên toàn thế giới.

Cấu trúc đề thi GSAT

Cấu trúc đề thi GSAT thường có 3 phần đó là: Thi toán học, khả năng tư duy và tư duy suy luận hình ảnh. Các phần thi được phân bố như sau:

30 câu trắc nghiệm toán học trong 30 phút25 câu hỏi tư duy suy luận, bài thi trong vòng 25 phút30 câu hỏi tư duy suy luận hình ảnh trong thời gian 30 phút

Dạng bài thi cụ thể của từng phần của đề thi GSAT như sau:

Phần 1: Bài thi toán học

Những dạng bài được sử dụng chủ yếu là các số liệu thống kê, biểu đồ, đồ thị… thông qua đó sẽ yêu cầu thí sinh sử dụng dữ liệu để tính toán về doanh thu, định hướng, quãng đường…

Các thí sinh cần có kiến thức về các dạng toán xác suất thống kê…

Phần 2 và 3: Phần thi tư duy logic (IQ)

Phần thi thứ hai về logic là các chuỗi thông tin trong câu hỏi sẽ được thiết lập liên quan đến nhau để ứng viên sử dụng thông tin đó đưa ra suy luận logic. Phần thi này sẽ thường sẽ được kết hợp chung trong phần thi thứ ba về tư duy phán đoán hình ảnh.

The total number of stages in the complete Samsung Recruitment process is Four. A candidate need to qualify all these four levels to get the final placement offer from the company. Following are the four stages that a candidate will face during the Samsung placement drive-

• GSAT(Aptitude & Reasoning- 50 questions)
• Technical Paper(C,C++, Data structure, operating system)
• Technical Interview
• HR round

It consists of two sections: (Samsung placement criteria)

Section-1

It judges the Quantitative ability comprising of Data Interpretation(pie chart, bar chart, line graph) ,percentage, profit and loss , time and work, etc. During this test samsung checks Data interrelation skill of a candidate.

Section-2

Reasoning which includes puzzles.: This defines general Aptitude test during Samsung selection procedure

2. Written Technical Test

There will be 30 questions to be solved in 30 minutes comprising of two papers in the Samsung written test questions 2013 which include-

a) For java consisting of questions from multi-threading, collections, android etc.
b) For c/c++, the paper there will be 20 questions from c/c++,data structure and operating system.

3. Technical Interview

Here questions based on projects, static variable, static function, semaphore and conceptual questions will be asked.Candidates must be technically sound in their respective stream subjects as well.

4. HR Interview

It tests the communication skill, confidence and general knowledge of the candidate and confidence is key area where Samsung focus for its desired candidate.
